In May of this year, The Chepachet Fire Department Placed a 2005 Crimson Star Series Tanker into service, currently running as Tanker 12. Built on a Spartan Gladiator Chassis, Tanker 12 has seating for 5 firefighters, a 1,500gpm Hale QMAX pump and a 2,500 gallon Poly Tank. Lincoln, RI's Station 2 gets a new 2005 Pierce non-walk in Heavy Rescue for Squad-21. This new ride replaces a Ford Engine. This truck carries many cutters, spreaders, air bags, cribbing, shoring, and haz mat supplies. This rig also has a 1000gpm pump w/ 500gal of water on it.

Providence Fire takes delivery of a 2004 Pierce rearmount medium duty ladder truck.
The truck has the "ALL/STEER" rear wheel option. This truck is at the North Main Street fire station, located at 151 North Main St.

Staffed by (2) paid Firefighters during the week and (1) paid firefighter on the weekends. The department is a combination paid/volunteer and has a 2003 EMS Rescue and a referbed NY 100 ft ladder. |
